3rd Annual Logan County Cougar Baseball Alumni/Booster Dinner Information

Updated: Feb 14, 2019

Hello Cougar Fans, mom & dads, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, former players and just good ole' baseball enthusiast.

We would like to invite you to the 3rd Annual Alumni/Booster Dinner, February 23rd 6:00pm at the Logan County CTC.

This year we will be honoring the 1989 Regional Championship Team.  Coach Billingsley will be speaking about the team, sharing some great memories and tall tales.

One of our guest speakers this year will be 2015 graduate Caleb Bruner, former pitcher for WKU.  Also joining him on the mic will be long time assistant coach Kyle Wall.

You will also hear from Head Coach Ethan Meguiar about what's in store for the Cougars this season.

Jon Barrow, Booster Club President will also be giving updates on the many upgrades that are taking place.  Your support is needed to close the deal on some of these projects.  We have done a tremendous job in only our 3rd year of existence on what we have been able to accomplish through our booster club! This year we are proud to have begun our storage building project which is a major upgrade for our program.  It has a dressing room, coaches office and lots of storage.  We have been able to pour the concrete pad, frame, metal, sheet rock and paint, but now we are needing your help in completing the project.  We are needing lockers for the boys, turf for floors, and other odds and ends to finish it so the boys can use it this spring.   We are opening up this link for donations.  This is  crucial in order for us to have it completed this season.

Cougar Baseball has made a tremendous impact on many young men's lives since we started in 1983.  We want this building project to be something special that future generations of LCHS players and coaches will have to enjoy.  It's 2019 which is time for our boys to have a place to call their own.  A place to change clothes, and keep their equipment.  Any donation will help and goes 100% to the project.  In order to complete the project approximately $10,000 is needed.  Lockers and flooring are our major needs right now.  This amount will also allow us to install netting for the left field line which will protect our bullpen and the new structure.  We have raised around $15,000 to date toward this project.  What a wonderful testimony to our fans' generosity!  We have had many people in the community chip in and help get us to where we are now.  However, we can't spend money we don't have with a booster club, so we need to secure these funds or our kids will have to wait.

Secure your spot in the legacy of Cougar Baseball, please consider a donation today.  The booster club is structured so 100% of your contribution goes directly to impact our program and is completely tax deductible.  We greatly appreciate your past, present, and future support!
