Logan County Cougar Baseball 2018 Can't Catch Up To St. Xavier

Logan County Cougar Baseball 2018 fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-0 loss to St. Xavier on Monday. St. Xavier scored on a single by Brandon Tucker, a passed ball during Chase Patton's at bat, a single by Alex Smith, and a single by Brycen Harkins in the first inning.

The Logan County Cougar Baseball 2018 struggled to contain the high-powered offense of St. Xavier, giving up ten runs.

St. Xavier got things moving in the first inning. St. Xavier scored one run when Tucker singled.

A single by Koby Wall in the second inning was a positive for Logan County Cougar Baseball 2018.

Andrew Littlefield led the St. Xavier to victory on the pitcher's mound. He allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking zero. Aric Lyons and Cameron Scheler entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Ethan Smock took the loss for Logan County Cougar Baseball 2018. He allowed five hits and ten runs over two and a third innings, striking out one.

Nate Woodall, Wall, and Bradley Taylor each collected one hit to lead Logan County Cougar Baseball 2018.

St. Xavier was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Alexander Adams had the most chances in the field with six.
